my 2 cents - You have really unique rims - If they were run of the mill BBS or something I'd say go for it. The black really hides the character of the wheel...

My I've seen a lot of talk about ricers since I've been on this board. I'm surprised you're all endorsing this!
Normally I can't stand colored wheels, esp. black. Those balck Alpinas that were up earlier were hideous. And with the black, you might as well us steel wheels without covers, as noone can see them.
All that said, silver wheels on silver cars can be redundant, so this breaks it up nicely. But I've seen so many postings here of gorgeous 15" or 16" basketweaves with the really substantial lip - they make the E30 look both mean and classy.
Of course, all this is coming from a guy with dog's breakfast ground effects!

i think the black will look good, mainly because of the silver lippage. The alpinas were ALL black, so you couldnt realy see th edge of the rim. I say "they are your rims, your time, and your car, go for it"
Hey if somthing looks hott i say go for it. Im going to do it to my wheels when i get them. Ill just have a polished lip. Ever since i saw a pic of a black M3 haulin balls down a road,It had black and polished wheels, the the lip just picked up the sun a shot it back at the camera.
hey TJ what size tires are you running? It looks like 205/50/16...is that correct? do you have room for wider tires?
Exactly. There is some room, but I'd rather be safe and run 205's for clearance.
Can you post or PM me a pic of your car from directly behind or directly in front to show the stance it has with 205's, because i'd really like to run 225's cause they have such a nice stance on e30's.
