no, they just won't look very aggressive because they will sit pretty far inside the fenders.

LOL, I bought a set of gold/silver 5x100 BBS LM's last summer (planning on adaptors) right after I sold the RS'. I quickly came back to my senses and cancelled that shit.

I'm currently using a 24mm offset with a 7" wheel. with a 10mm spacer on the BBS you could run a wider tire without worrying about the fenders.
I've seen 16x7.5" ET35 wheels on an iX (test fitted Borbet Type E's I briefly had last summer), and there was still quite a bit of room front and rear. The extra half-inch of width only equates to 6mm further outward protrusion given the same offset. ET30 7.5" would be the same as you have.

And he can't run wider than 215's on that wheel anyways, so he may as well push them to the fenders.

Are you sure? Maybe just the silver ones. I know I have seen the diamond black ones for a while on Tire Rack, but maybe I am just crazy. m3ntal kev has the diamond black ones on his white non-M.

The Diamond ones. I know they weren't available because I was sourcing the paint for my RX's (identical spoke design) to make faux RGR's because they weren't made yet (mid-'04).

Kev bought those wheels last year for the Mini, then put them on the 318. He's local to me.

Diamond RG-R's would look really nice on a d-shwartz car, I approve.

Did you ever get the Diamond Black paint? Wouldn't mind doing my RXs the same.

Hmm, I never noticed that the spoke design is the same but you are right. For some reason the RG-R's are so much hotter to me.

Only difference i'm aware of is, of course they're forged. The other, the edge of of the lip is not flat on the RG-Rs.

RG-Rs are one of BBS's strongest wheels in production, from what I am told from a BBS PR.

Nah, never found the Diamond Paint. To be truthful I didn't really scour the world though, just local places.

Well, BBS is not too far from us...might try them. 16" "RG-Rs" would be sharp.

The Kopis aren't really like though.

And, in my opinion, an iX is going to need to be sitting pretty low to make 17's look good.
where did you find those fake te37's for so cheap?

As for the thread, If you got the dough i would go with the diamond black RGR's otherwise go with the kopi's and some good rubber

stock ride height? because I rub with 205/55-15's and a 24mm offset..
