    Falken RT 615K

Hey guys, anyone used them? They come in an almost-stock tire size of 195/60r14 and would be consistent with my sleeper look then on my new car. I can get them for $604 shipped which seems like a pretty great deal, but are they good? My 325i Touring is on Falken FK 452s right now and I'm a big fan of those. Thanks guys

Great track and autocross tires. You can also use 'em as a very high-grip summer extreme performance street tire, but they wear pretty fast. Not good in the cold...

pretty old tech but in 14" there's not really many choices. $600 seems a lot to me for 14" tires though.

604 seems too pricey. Here they are for $86 each.

I liked them when I ran them in 205/50/15. Pretty grippy but greasy when they get really hot. Better cold grip than an rs3 but less ultimate grip. Great for the price.

$604 is shipped to Canada with customs fees. Shit's expensive to get in Canada lol

I've found them to be total junk. I've got a set on my Datsun and its like driving on ice. I'm not sure there is any 14 inch tire worth buying these days. I'm sort of trying to sell my wheels so I can buy some 15s and have a choice of tires again.

                You were using the 14s?

The K designation is a newer compound, as in 615K.

I used a set on my MR2, and E30. Great tires, none of that tread squirm feeling.

Okay sounds pretty good I think I'm convinced. Only problem is we still have 3" of snow in Edmonton so it'll a while before I can try these out lol

I have a set on my E30. Great in the summer, but in the snow might as well walk. Tried to back the car out of the garage on the snow and ended up pushing it back in. The tires just spin on top of the snow.

Just ordered a set in 16" for the drift car. Seem super grippy, very stiff sidewall.

OK but we melted ours at our last lemons race. We also used Direzza II and liked the first Direzza better for track use.

I can see them overheating with use like that. For auto x or an extreme summer tire, they should do well.
