I can't see the pictures to verify how much body work he had done.

I'm contemplating something similar but the rear offset is different (et15), and I was thinking about running a 225 front tire.

    So, potential setup would be:
    16x7.5 et20 225/40r16 and 16x9 et15 245/35r16
I'm on coilovers and fenders are all rolled.
I'm also getting ready to fix the rear geometry with a toe/camber kit.

Am I dreaming? Is this going to work? Does that 10mm in the offset make all the difference?
Thanks again! Your advice is priceless.
Yeah, you're dreaming. If you've even seen the standard 16x9 ET15 215/40/16 fitment in person, you'd know how little room there is left. That 10mm makes a huge difference.

Don't get caught up on width. I'd put money on a car with a set of the 215/45/16 Kumho XS being faster around a track than a car on the mediocre Toyo T1-R (the only tire in those sizes you mentioned). I'd just run that monster all around and enjoy not having fitment headaches.

My E30 325i is dropped on HR sports and blistein shocks, will I have any rubbing issues, or need to roll anything ?
It'll be close, but you should just clear.

Yea i definitely don't want to stretch, but i really dont wanna crack my original paint, damn it! what a dilema! I dont wanna pass up these badass wheels either.

          Hey Jay,

I bought the same wheels and I bought a complete 60/50mm Lowtec Suspension Kit for my '84 325e.
I plan on also getting some drop hats and removing all pads.
I think I am either going to get 205 or 215/40/17 Tires. Not sure which will be better.

Since Philipangoo was cutting it close with his setup, I think I will definately have problems with the 20mm offset.

          My questions are:
Should I get the 35mm offset wheels instead and buy some 10mm spacers to make 25mm offset?
If I get spacers, should I get them NON-Hubcentric with these wheels?
Is it not good to stack spacers? Like a 10 and a 5?

          Thank you so much.

Hey Jay, I'm going to be running 16x7 et10 front and et-15 rear with 205/45's. I'm gonna have some problems with the rear arches aren't I

Rear will need a flat fender roll, but otherwise it should be okay. Your early arches will help here.
what size should i go for the stretched look?

In any case, the RS164 will fit, with severely stretched tires. Think 205/50/15s and heavily rolled and maybe even slightly pulled fenders.
Thanks for the answer. Will not buy those sets then. 205/50 on 9.5" is too aggressive for me.... :)

                      yoo jay,
Its me for about the 100th time.
I just bought some vw fitment kosei k1's in 17x7.5 et 35 with 205/40's on them. I dont know what the hub bore size is( i cant find the specs ANYWHERE) They came off a sentra as far as i know. My question isssss.
I was thinking a 10mm hubcentric spacer would be enough.
But i have no idea where to find one. any help?

EDIT: so i have figured out that places like americas tire can measure the hub bore of my new wheel (kosei k1). my guess so far is its in the 60+mm range. So my question still stands, just wanted to give you a little more info.
                      Thanks jay for any help.

You'd have to tell me what they sell.

20mm spacers, and up to 225/45/16 tires are not a problem.

The wheels are not flush or wide enough to really look right with stretched tires. I'd just go for 225/45/16 all around and enjoy the grip.
