Mystical-
I picked up a almost new set of Kumho V710 tires. The size is 225/45/R16.
My car has a moderate amount of fender roll and I am currently running 225/45/R17 without an issue but I am not sure of the offset of the Kosei wheels that I am running.
My question is, What would be the best wheel size and offset for the Kumho tires? I autocross so they will not be used for DD. 16x8 or wider?Comment

15mm spacers all around, 235/40/17 tires all around. Will not need flares, you'll barely even need to roll.Comment

17 x 10 et 15 (ESM BBS reps)
Will these wheels poke on the rear of a non lowered E30? It seems like on lowered cars the added camber helps to kinda tuck the top of the wheel in. Also would be mounting on a 40 series tires with no stretch. On the lowered e30 in this thread they look great ( http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...=194274&page=5 ). I'm just wondering how they would look with slightly wider tires on a stock ride heightComment

Here are a couple of set-ups I am thinking about.
First, I was thinking of running a 225/45/16 BFG KDW on these wheels.
Front 16x8 et20
Rear 16x8.5 et24
Secondly, for a really grippy set-up I was thinking of running a 235/40/17 or 245/40/17 Dunlop Z1 SS on a 17x7.5 et33.
The 17s will likely need a small spacer to clear the front struts with a 235/40 (5mm). 245/40 isn't ideal on the 7.5.Comment

Slightly different question...
I recently bought a used Michelin PS2 with the following DOT code: FT2 x 0203 H202 . I can't seem to find any evidence on the net that the Pilot Sport 2's production dates as far back as 2002/2003.. So what's this tire's real production date?Comment

20 offset and 215/40/17. Will still require a fender roll despite the moderate tire stretch.Comment

I have decided to get a set of the ESM-004's, but I could use a little help on the fitment. I have an 1987 325is with the IE Stage III springs, Bilstein Sport shocks, adjustable front camber plates, sway bars, all the bushings, etc. The car will be getting painted after fitting the wheels, so I am open for (and expecting) some aggressive fender rolling/pulling. The car obviously sits quite low on the factory 195/65R-14 tires, so I am planning for the new set up to be slightly taller overall. I understand this will affect my gearing, but I would like to run 245/40R-17's all around. Unless someone says different, I am expecting the 17x8 et 20 wheels will be the best way to accomplish this. A few questions:
1. From what I have read, I believe this will require spacers on the front, any idea what size to clear the front struts?
2. Any reason to think the rears would require spacers?
(These belong in other threads, but it's worth a shot)
3. If I am getting spacers, what is the latest recommendation (brand) for swapping to wheel studs?
4. Who is currently loaning/renting out their fender roller in the Houston area?
Thanks for the help,

I recently got Avez Type A for my 318is.
Wheel specs are:
16 x 7.5 ET 20 ( front)
16 x 9 ET 15 (rear).
I am repainting the car this winter and yes im rolling both rear and front. Questions is:
What size tires will I need to have a flush stance? Ill be running GCs. I was told to run 205/40 all around. Any suggestions?Comment

I know this has probably been answered somewhere in here before, but jfc this is a huge thread!
I'm dropping an upgraded S50 into my E30 and want to run beefy tires, probably a 17x X wheel. What sizes and offset can I run with a mild fender roll to maximize my tire size? Car will be pretty low on GC's.Comment

Thanks for the input. What offsets? How about something in a meshie. I like the arc-8 style wheel, but think i'd rather go mesh in the long run. I've got a set of 16x7 enkeis that i'm running now that are a similar style to the arc's.I don't always wreck cars, but when I do I wreck them into trees.

Tire brand, size combo's and fitment question. Opinions wanted. Car is a 89 325i lowered on vogtland springs probably a little lower than h&r race springs...I plan on going with h&r sports as the car is just to low.. Rims are 16x7.5 lenso bsx not sure on the offset..
Questions:
Would I be able to fit 225/45/16r's front and rear?
The tires i have in mind is the Nexen N3000 all season and Falken FK-452's seems to really be my only all season choices
I have heard some people say that the 225/45/16 may not fit up front, if this is he case and I ran 225/45/16r's in the rear, what would be a suitable size to run up the front..?Comment
