      GO!

Edit: didnt see that it was 5 lug... then just get the 18 mm adapters all around. will be easier to sell when it comes time.. and you will still be at et+5 on a 8"... pretty friggin flush

I have the ability/resources now to have custom-made spacers made to whatever thickness I want, and I want my new wheels/tires at flush fitment. I'm running 17x8 Apex ARC-8s with Yokohama S-Drive 215/40/17. What size (mm) do I need front and rear to go flush? Front and rear fenders are already rolled.

With my previous wheels (16x7.5, ET38 with a 20mm adapter front/25mm rear, 205/45/16), my fronts were just a hair shy of flush, and the rears were just about there.

I'm fairly confident it will work, but I just wanted to run it by you guys....

I'm about to pull the trigger on 4 esm 002R 16x8 et20's and I want to to run 225/45/16's all around for a fairly beefy/flush setup. I already have a bit of fender role. I'm currently on j-stock springs but likely swaping out for IE stg 3's.

          Anything to worry about?

i was aiming for something flush with little to no poke. anybody know what adapter size I could run? and possible tires? will fender work... work with the rear width?

(From my post at what is this wheel thread)
Smallest adapters possible. Even with, you'll be working the fenders very heavily front and rear. 195/45 F 215/40 R.

I was hoping for an E30 recommended tire size of 205/55/15. What size lips and spacer would I have to use? Would I have to use hub rings? I want the best grip and handling is there a different combination that would work better?

                  Thanks,

                  Tom Gould
                  1.5" lips F/R = 15x7.5 +20. Perfect. No spacers, no rings.

There's a whole thread in this subsection with 16x8 Style 5 guys discussing fitment, look for it. 195/45 will be the tire of choice, along with a flat rear roll and the smallest adapters possible (18mm).

what tire size would be best for this and what would need to be dont?
205/40 F 225/35 R. Very heavy rear fender rolling along with relatively high linear rear spring rates (500+lb/in).

You will contact your front fender liners and/or rails. 215/40 is the correct size.

10mm rear. Fronts should be fine as-is.

No worries. It's tight, but works.

I'd like to know this too. I want to run 265's out back. I've already got 255's with minor rubbing on big bumps. But then again I'm also rather low.
