ASK ALL WHEEL/TIRE FITMENT QUESTIONS HERE - The Official Wheel/Tire Fitment Thread
Looking to change wheels, currently running 16's on Bilstein HD's with H&R Sports, want to got to 15" Alpina's. What is the difference in going to a 15x6 front, 15x7 rear rather than all 15x7? Is it only cosmetic? What is the best size tire combo for this?
Buying some e60 style 134's for my 91. Running 5 lug adapters as well. Need a idea on adapter sizes with a 16x7 et20 wheel. 15f/20r mm adapters sound about right? I'm on kw v1's trying to get it as flush as possible

Awesome thanks. I guess a 205/50 would be ideal but a 195/50 would keep me from scrubbing at et0?

I mention Metric Mechanic because it is a great way to empty your wallet to get unverified horsepower gains."

I wouldn't go with 15x6 fronts. 15x7 all around minimum, and 205/55 or 225/50 tires.
Best offset for 15x8, 235/50? The wheels are +38, but I could get spacers up to 20mm.
Thanks in advance!
That's a tough one. I'd actually suggest mounting them and seeing how much clearance you need to create either with trailing arm grinding or via spacers (probably like 5mm). Not much additional space is needed and you don't want to overuse spacers and end up rubbing on the fender.

Thanks! My thoughts exactly on spacers, I wanted to use as small as one to get by. And by trailing arm grinding, do you mean the pinch weld that sticks out a bit?
Ok, after much waffling I finally obtained a set of wheels that I'm going to try out and I need some advice on spacers.
16x7 - Offset: +30
Late body style car, lowered on Ground Controls, camber plates, etc. I'm going to be running a 205/50 Star Spec. Looking for the most aggressive fitment I can pull off with rolling only. Thanks again, hopefully now you won't hear from me for a while.
