    F: 205/40
    R: 225/35

However, I'm having trouble finding tires for the rears other than Yoko S Drives and Falken FK 452's. Are there any other tires out there I can get? Perhaps a different size with more tire choices?
    I run a 215/40/17 on my 17x8.5 front

If you go with a 235/40/17 that will open up the tire selection, and it should fit in the rear unless you are slammed

235/40 sounds really tall for some reason

      edit:
ooooo, if I can get a few more confirmations that this 235/40 would be fine then I can get star specs all around

205/50 100% fits without modification. 215/45 and 225/45 may require a slight fender roll, rear.

Will this require fender rolling or fit well on a lowered 318is?

              Thanks
No rolling because the tires are laughably small. You WILL blow one of those eventually. Switch to a 205/45.

195/40 or 195/45. More rolling needed with the latter.

I would presume I'd have to roll the fenders in the rear at least? Up front as well?

How much would it throw off my speedo?

Yes, easily. Fronts will need 10mm spacers with stock struts. Speedo will be MORE accurate. Rear fender roll needed.

I'd like to keep the backs meaty to hold the power (turbo) but I need to size down the fronts. Would 205/50/15s look ok staggered with the 225/45/15s in the back?
                        Yes.

I'm looking to put 235-40-17 tires (star specs, maybe rcomp in the future?) on my car.
I have an early model with e36m3 front suspension and inline6 z3 hubs on stock trailing arms in the back. I'm running about -2degree rear camber right now and about -3 degrees up front.

I'm looking at getting 17x8 rims, but I'm not sure what offset I need. How easy of a fit will this but? My rear fenders are currently rolled a little bit, but the front isn't. Will I need to do a bunch of rolling to run these tires?

                            Thanks!
                            Which Z3?

id rather not pull the fenders out though. i want at least the 225s on the back, however i guess i could run 215s or if i have to 205s on the front?

thanks for any input. the wheels are almost mine. but i put them off when i freaked about fitment.
You would have to pull quite a bit. 205/45 is the size for those.

Ideally, Z3 fitment ones, especially the rare staggered (17x7.5 and 17x8.5 +41). With 18-20mm adapters you could even run non-stretched tires.
