What are the best wheels/tires you can run for the track? Track only specific.

        Ideal size tires?
215/40's at best or 205/40 definitely.

bit tough to find 2 or 4 245/40/17.

Can I fit 255/40/17 all around? (I have another pair of 8.5" wide contours for up front)

I would presume I'd have to roll the fenders in the rear at least? Up front as well?

How much would it throw off my speedo?

Damn 275's can fit on an e30?

I have 225/45/15 Falkens all around on 15x7 Euroweaves right now. The back looks great but the front sticks out too much for my tastes. I'd like to keep the backs meaty to hold the power (turbo) but I need to size down the fronts. Would 205/50/15s look ok staggered with the 225/45/15s in the back?

Most definitely can with a little fender pulling.
You asked a pretty general question so i gave you the best overall answer.

If you are hoping to stick tires under your relatively stock looking e30 then you would do well with a 15x8 of your choice coupled with 225/45's.
                  That will fit no problem.

                      Hello,
I'm looking to put 235-40-17 tires (star specs, maybe rcomp in the future?) on my car.
I have an early model with e36m3 front suspension and inline6 z3 hubs on stock trailing arms in the back. I'm running about -2degree rear camber right now and about -3 degrees up front.

I'm looking at getting 17x8 rims, but I'm not sure what offset I need. How easy of a fit will this but? My rear fenders are currently rolled a little bit, but the front isn't. Will I need to do a bunch of rolling to run these tires?

                      Thanks!

can 225s on a 16x8 et10 fit all round on a e30? id say ill need to roll the fender lips right in. but do you think ill need to pull the fenders out? the car will be real low on coilovers.

id rather not pull the fenders out though. i want at least the 225s on the back, however i guess i could run 215s or if i have to 205s on the front?

thanks for any input. the wheels are almost mine. but i put them off when i freaked about fitment.

fell in love with a post of an e30 with style 32's. My question is from what body style do i need to get the style 32s from if i plan on running adapters? From what i have researched i think its the 3 series and z3 but i want to be absolutely sure and this seems like the place to do that.

So I have a set of staggered Borbet A's i was looking to get new tires on.. I live in NJ and our roads are pretty shit for the most part. What size tires would be recommended without too much stretch?

Hey dude thanks for the help in advance

I have brock b1's in 17x8.5 et 13 and 17x10 et 20 and from searching this thread the recommended tire sizes are:

                              F: 205/40
                              R: 225/35

However, I'm having trouble finding tires for the rears other than Yoko S Drives and Falken FK 452's. Are there any other tires out there I can get? Perhaps a different size with more tire choices?

For a 17x10 wheel what range of offsets will work in the rear of the e30?

I assume it is pretty narrow, so using the Brocks in the post above would it be ET20 +/- ??
