If you're talking R-comps, yes, going crazy with a fender roller will make it work.Comment

Thinking of using my refinished BBS RA's on my 318i. These are 15x6 ET33 wheels so I am thinking that I'll need spacers to fill out the fenders. Hubs on the wheels are thick so I'll need to determine proper length of ball-type lug bolts - standard bolts w/o spacers are 12x1.50 with a 39mm shank.
Would be running 205-50-15 tires so 6-in. wide rim should be okay. I'm thinking 15-20mm spacers should do it.
Thoughts...would these look good on a d-schwartz E30?

Hi,
I am planning on purchasing a set of MB Seven X's ET38 with slicks 26.0x8.5x15 to use as drag set up. I believe they are Honda fitment, will these work on the back of the E30? What size spacer and certric ring will I need?
Thanks!

I don't have any experience with slicks, sorry. For the rings you'll need to research based on your wheel model or measure carefully.Comment

For slicks, maybe not. The absolute center position for a 15x7 is probably around +30 final offset. I assume you want that for maximum sidewall space for the wrinkling. I'd go with no spacers first and add as needed.Comment

Just yell at me if I'm doing it wrong. I got some wheels for essentially free that I'd like to run, but want to know if the required spacing equipment is worth my time/money.
Car: '91 318is coupe, stock hubs, mildly rolled fenders.
Suspension: Very low, not-very-stiff springs. They're green and I can't make out the first word of the name on them, but the 2nd is 'Racing'.
What I'm running now: 15x7 no-names, +25, with 205-55-15's. no rub.
What I want to run: 17x7 rotas, +38, with 205-45-17's.
As far as spacers, I was thinking 25mm in the rear, 20mm in the front, with appropriate studs/bolts and built-in hub extenders. Is this sane? I wanted to move the wheels a bit more outwards in the wheel wells that what I currently have.
Thanks.1991 BMW 318is, mild SOLD | 1996 Subaru Impreza Wagon(STi V2 replica), inferno spicyComment

I have 205/40/16s wrapped on Borbet type E's. The Borbets are 16'' x 7.5, et 35.
I need to rune some hubcentric rings, and it seems like I will need to run some spacers (seems to be rubbing/cuttin it close on the inside of the wheel to the strut assembly).
I have JOM coils coming in soon. I basically want to poke out about the same as the red e30 coupe, or the last picture posted in MightyWhiteys first page.
I will be pming him about his offset if I can find his username. But from what I read, you want anything 20 ish and lower. This will be on my daily, so I do not want to compensate too much turning (I have no problem rolling fenders) and do not want to completely anniliate my wheel bearings.
Just looking for the boarder of safety and looks. What would you guys recommend running?Comment

Thanks. Now time to hunt down the crap I need.
It wasn't that long ago I played the fitment game with my IS300. I got a lot of crap for putting 16x8's on it and had to trial-and-error the tire and spacer fit. Guys like you and threads like this make for a much, much easier starting point.:up:1991 BMW 318is, mild SOLD | 1996 Subaru Impreza Wagon(STi V2 replica), inferno spicyComment
