    Now on to the rest...
I've seen lots of wheels in this thread and the stance thread that work out to an 8+0 offset and fit. You were talking about a 9+0 that only needed minor fender work a few posts before this one.

This guy is running the equivalent of 8+0 front and 9+0 back in 17s and I don't see any modification. I surely can't imagine a 15x8+0 is going to need any modifcation at any ride height.

Need some advice on tire fitment. Im running E30 M3 5-lug conversion on a standard body late model E30. I need to replace my rear tires and I'm wondering if you have some advice on going a little wider (The fronts will not be not changing). The rears are 18x8 et35 with a 3mm spacer, 215/35/18 no rub anywhere, fenders are NOT rolled and will not be.

I'd like to put 235/35/18 on the rear and I can keep or remove the 3mm spacer to give clearance on whichever side I need it. For reference, I had 215/40/17 on a 17x8 et20 on this car and the rear touched the fender lip and cut a groove into it (never ran them, way too much contact even at parking lot speeds or not moving).

Do you think I could fit the 235/35 18's on the rear? Any issues with inner clearance if I remove the 3mm spacer to gain some fender clearance? Any diameter problems since these are a little taller? Any other considerations?

Let me know what you think!
      Thanks in advance

anyone running 17x8 on 205/45/17 front and 225/45/17 (this will cause .5" larger diameter in the back; but size options are limited).
Need to know your offset, but no 225/45 doesn't work well.

Should fit. No idea what kind of tires you're going to find in those sizes though.

Cheap, Chinese wheels with cheap, Chinese tires on them. And they won't fit an E30 without $200+ in spacers, bolts, and hubcentric rings.

            Just run away.

Yes. Your offset is so high it should fit fine.

there is an option for offset, which is best 15 or 25? I'm thinking 15?
And which tire would be best?
                    Spacers needed?

will these poke or no? would 15x8.5 be a better fit?

How much more clearance do i need to make them work? I'm not racing or anything and i can get ahold of some sparco spacers for 50-90 depending on how thick they need to be..

                          Hello everyone!

I am an engine guy and this wheel ET offset talk is more than a little confusing for me. I did my homework but I need a learned opinion.

I just bought a set of 7x15 5 lug wheels, Max399’s hub adapters, sourced some E46 hubs and calipers off a 325i sedan and some E36 Z3(I6) rear hubs and calipers.

The front offset is 12mm and the rear offset is 23.2mm. Its on Stock springs and I would like a stock flush look. The wheels have an ET of 47.

So if I am doing this correct the front would be ET 35 and the rear ET 23.8

                          Tire size is currently 225/45/15

Will this set up work on my E30? Do I need to use spacers? Should I use 12mm spacers in the front to get the same offset as the rear?
                          Any advice would be welcome

They'll poke horrendously in my opinion.

8.5" is the limit to fitting 15" wheels inside the front fenders.

                                15-20mm will work.

                                Please don't do it.
