17x8+14 17x8+19
also
17x9+22
and
16x9 et 15
on a car with ie3's no spring pads. Id like the wheel as close to the fender as possible. I would also like minimal wheel gap i dont mind running a bigger sidewall. The stretched tire guys cars are low so they can pull that 205 strech look off. I am not as low on ie's so i was wondering what tire guys you recommend so that the wheels dont look empty with huge wheel gap.Last edited by e30 gangsta; 05-22-2008, 07:26 PM.Comment

Second setup: Exact same answer as #1.
Third setup: 215/45/16 for more fender filling. You'll need to roll the rear lips here.Comment

I figured he knew that he needed them on the front. If you want to put any spacer on the rear, getting a tire that isn't really undersized will be an exercise in fender pulling. The 215/45 will be a bitch, I'd go 205/45.Comment

Ok, I read thru the thread and I have one more question. The wheels are 17x7.5 et 33. I got 8mm HR spacers ready to go all around and I've read that the tire should be
215 40 17. My fenders are already rolled. I am also on IE3's. Can I put a wider tire on the rear without the spacer on the back without rubbing?sigpic

Jason,
We need a list of people who make decent spacers for e30s no? I see many spacers that overshoot or miss the mark, being either too large and hitting the brake pads or too small and not covering the whole surface.

I was wondering, I have fairly extensive fender work on all corners, what tire could I run to get some more meat on the ground. I'm running 16x8 et15's front and rear and I'm on eibach race springs. Non coilover eibachs. So what could I fit?
As of now I'm on 205-45s and I want a little more meat.
Thanks

The list begins and ends with H&R. Not saying others are necessarily bad, but H&R is tried and true.Comment
