Wow, they look really good in silver. Yeah i dont like the black face, you can not really see the wheel. I was thinking of painting the center gold, or something. And i like that the ones in your pic are stepped lip.
Those are amazing wheels. Only thing I don't like about them is the black center. My friend has them on his MKIV GTI in almost color matched centers with polished lips and it looks sick. I seriously want to see those wheels on an E30. They are pretty much perfect offsets for that size too.

Jay,
I'm looking for a 245/35/16 and have only been able to find one tire that makes that size. Toyo T1R. Have any other suggestions?-Erik

FYI: 17x9 +14 in the front with 215/40/17 is GORGEOUS when slammed.
Just wanted to add that one in. No pictures until I order the rear wheels for a full set :)Erick Mahle | FullOpp Drift | YouTube

Erick my man, earlier we were talking about the 17x9 +20 on the front not hitting the strut but your sways instead, did that pan out during this test fitment? A local guy just tried the 17x9 +20 Falken and he said it hit the strut, which is the exact same thing a guy on the forum with the same wheels said. According to my calculations based on other setups it should be really close but *just* clear. I'm starting to wonder about those particular wheels...Comment

my e34 m5 wheels (i guess they're the narrower ones all around, as they have 235's on all 4) on an e36 non-m? what's it take?Originally posted by bluntcan you get me a deal on cases of their (fiji) bottled water? i wash my 02 in that shitComment

I tried the same wheels in question in the front yesterday. As mentioned, I hit the strut (just like a 16x9" +15 does). I used a 6mm spacer and managed to get the clearance I needed from the strut, so the wheel became a 17x9 +14. I am going to buy the H&R 10mm spacers and have the 17x9 +10. :)
I did not drive the car to see how close it came to the sway bar, but my sways have the paint stripped off them by the wheels on both sides already.
8" is fine in the front given proper offset. 9" is where you have to start considering fenders, sway bars, and strut altogether.Erick Mahle | FullOpp Drift | YouTube

haha yeah, I would never run that size tire, unless I was going to track my car. It's for a friend of mine that is building his 190e. He says, "I need like a 245/35/16... I've said too much." So I'm guessing he's going to need that size to put down the power he's expecting.-Erik

Ok, here is my question for the pros here :)
Car is an 89 325i, will be lowered on Advance Design DA coilovers (ERS springs 700front/900-1000rear) springs and include front camber correction at about -2.5-3.0 degrees. I would like to fit 245s all the way around (to be able to rotate dot-r tires front to back) on a 15 x 16 by 8" wheels.
What's the best wheel size and offset I should look for in order to pull this off? I am open to pulling the fenders front and back but I am concerned with the inner clearance, especially while turning.
