Not sure of the offset since they're still not available AFAIK.

Track only car with H&R Race and Bilstein sports.

Tire rack system recommends 205/55-15 tire size...sounds a little narrow to me. But what do I know. What do the experts say?
a 205/55 on an 8 inch wide wheel? sounds really narrow to me...

Heres a 205-45-17 on an 8 inch wheel... Granted its not the same but still

And if i'm off, please correct me

      Hello.

      Rolled fender
      on IE springs, using
      15x7 euro weaves.

What would be a good sized tire I could
      use without rubbing?

      Doesn't have
to be super high performance tire.
I know sizes very depending on brands even
if they are the same size.

Right now I'm on a very cheap all weather 200wear
205/60/15, so perhaps if I can
      stay the same diameter?

      Great thread.
      Thanks for the time.

Me again :) Now I've got 16x9 Keskin KT1s et15 + 5mm spacer giving et10 on the rear with toyo t1r 225/45/16s. Now they fit very well and i could almost go slightly thicker spacers if i wanted.

I'm wanting to do the same on the front, I've fitted the keskins on the front with no spacer and 225/45/16s and they JUST clear the strut, the rims/tires do stick out of the rolled guard by a little tho ,do you think with adj top camber hats i would be able to pull the tire under the fender enough? Ive got offset m3 cab bushes in the front as well witch I'm told actually take out some of the camber? and give dynamic Castor?

I'm pretty sure ill have to end up going with 215/40/16s? what are your thoughts dude? I want the rear end to look fatter than the front and I'm a little concerned if i run a slimmer tire (more stretch) the front rims will "look" wider if you no what i mean. let me no what our thoughts are dude

              Thanks

              Riley
It's pretty odd that your 16x9s mount up front without spacers.

With just a little more negative camber, you can easily slide the 225's under the front fenders. There's quite a bit of room up there.

I think that since you're concerned with the possibility of the stretch on the front making the wheels look wider, that you may actually see it as a problem if you do it. Basically it's all in your head, and if you're worried about it now, you'll probably see it later. :p

One suggestion I have is that if you're keeping the 225/45 in the rear, then go to a 215/45 in the front. Otherwise the sidewall heights will be way off, and that will definitely look odd from a side profile.

I've been following the discussion on them and they don't sound unreasonably too big. Toyo recommends 6.5-8.5 inch widths for them. What size spacers do I need to pull that size off?

                Thanks!
You can get them on with a 12.5mm spacer (find those here: http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/...heel%20Spacers). You'll be rolling the rear fenders moderately though, just so you're aware.

The 225/50 version should be run with the same spacers, and would likely not need a fender rolling at all.

Basically, Tirerack will never list a tire size that will require fender rolling to fit. You can imagine the amount of angry, clueless customers they would have if they did.

225/50/15 is close to square on a 15x8. But it will DEFINITELY need to be accompanied by an aggressive fender roll.

I'd suggest a nice 225/50/15 Falken ZE-912. Nice wide size for looks (and traction...), and a very capable daily driver tire. That's also quite cheap.

205/60 is oversized, I'm surprised you haven't had any fender liner issues.

Looks like it was deleted before I got here.

There are only around 5-6 wheels in existence that clear E36 M3 brakes. The ones I know off the top of my head are:

                      Mille Miglia Spider
                      Mille Miglia MM-112
                      AT Italia Type 5

My factory bottlecaps have an et35 offset stamped right on the wheel, so double check your stats in the first post.
