ASK ALL WHEEL/TIRE FITMENT QUESTIONS HERE - The Official Wheel/Tire Fitment Thread
I'm pretty sure BMW hubs are 57.1mm, so you're going to need to machine 1mm from the bore.
That setup wil certainly have enough backspacing. I can't comment on the frontspacing, though, because i have fender flares, and that's my only reference point.
ok so any idea who could do the machining of the wheel?
Probably any machine shop. However, you might be able to get a hubcentric spacer that will adapt to 56.1, provided you have the frontspacing required...
Option A: Custom machined spacers with a 56.0mm diameter hub on the wheel side and 57.1mm on the hub side. 15mm front 20mm rear would be a nice setup. You can mount 215/35/18 tires with no fender rolling.
Option B: Have the wheels bored out to 57.1mm, buy 15/20mm spacers, and mount the same tires as above.
ok after reading alot about wheel questions it seems like mystikal is the wheel fit god.
i have 16x9 keskin k1 +15 offset. going to be lowered on vogtland springs that lower about 2 inches. which tire size do i run? 204/45? 215/40? 225/40? or 215/45? i rolled my rears minimally. let me know what you think will work. i know im going to have to run a 3mm spacer on the front to clear the struts. just wanting to know which tire.
Hey, I'm really sorry if this comes off as lazy, but I'm at work and have to go to a meeting and won't have time to look all day... and I REALLY need these. I'm currently running on sportmax wheels [http://www.nlmotoring.com/ProductDet...Code=00257083] and I don't have rings to properly mount them and so I get some pretty nasty vibrations.. does anyone know what rings i should use? -if anyone is selling a set or knows where to get them please let me know.
15mm spacer on the fronts with 225/40/16 tires.
ET25 version on the rear with 245/35/16 tires. Slight fender roll to get those to fit, but you may actually get away without it.
BTW they sell that wheel in an ET20 7.5" for the fronts, I'd recommend just getting that.
Keskin KT1's: If you recommend the +25 version in the rear for tire clearance why does everyone else buy the +15 version? Just curious...
Wheels will be ordered, pending your response :) Thanks again for the help with the fitment... for some reason wheel/tire fitment owns me.
