ok after reading alot about wheel questions it seems like mystikal is the wheel fit god.

i have 16x9 keskin k1 +15 offset. going to be lowered on vogtland springs that lower about 2 inches. which tire size do i run? 204/45? 215/40? 225/40? or 215/45? i rolled my rears minimally. let me know what you think will work. i know im going to have to run a 3mm spacer on the front to clear the struts. just wanting to know which tire.

All of the above have been done. The 205/45 is obviously the easiest to fit under the fenders, the wider/taller you go the more difficult it gets (i.e. more rolling necessary).

allight, just wondering if 501's in 16X8 with +15 offset would fit or not?

Yes. 205/45/16 tires recommended. No fender rolling.

Keskin KT1's: If you recommend the +25 version in the rear for tire clearance why does everyone else buy the +15 version? Just curious...

The +25 version doesn't come remotely close to clearing the front struts.

+15 for non-staggered 16x9s, +25 for rear-only.

3-5mm spacers on the front, 205/45 or 215/40 tires.

205/45/16 is guaranteed to fit without rolling. 205/50 will be a little close. Don't run the tiny 205/40.

I have a 91 cabbie lowered with Bilstein sports and H & R springs. I want to do Eurostop 002 16 x 7.5 et20 in the front with a 205/50/16 and 16 x 9 et 20 in the rear with a 225/45/16. Is this a good set up and will I have any issues?

Im picking up a pair of 16x7 bbs rs 003, now I was wondering if i were to upgrade the lip and make the 16x8s would I be able to run 225/50s on a H&R race/ billy sport set up with out rolling my fenders?

There is actually more space in the front of our cars. You'd need the 205/45 just to clear in the back, for the front even 225/45 is possible without issue.

You would need to roll the rear fenders. But otherwise, no issues at all.

Not a chance. You'd end up with 16x8 ET12, which is a very aggressive fitment. Even with a 205/45 tire you'd be very close to rubbing stock fenders.

Thanks for responding to my thread. Now to post on the correct thread :).

I am interested in getting the ground control coilovers with shortened housings and smaller spring perches. At full drop, what width / offset 16" rims & what tires can I run to maximize my contact patch without rubbing. (Rolled fenders ok).

ps: i don't know much about wheels / offsets etc so i may have some followup questions.

What tires? how much fender work? how far will the wheels stick out past the fenders if at all?

I have some keskin wheel:

front : 17x8.5 (I think ET20, I will check )Edited : ET30 with 235/45/17
Rear : 17x10 (I think ET20, I will check ) edited : Confirmed with 255/40/17

There is 35mm spacers all around and the fenders are already cut. I already ordered IE flares.

I drawn, in cut view (top half), the difference between stock (in gray) and keskin ( in black) on the rear. The inner side is on the left. In red is the hub. The 10in wheel is .62in wider on the inner side and 3.38in wider on the outter side. This is with 35mm spacer and considering et20.




I know that the tires are to big in diameter, but since this is a track oriented project, I dont really care. Bigger the better --> for grip...


What do tou thinks about this setup?

Will my wheel bearing last 2000km or 50000km?
