Makes more sense now, so its so much the poke so much as the shape of the tire near the fender?

    Go here be happy!

Before anyone else decides to listen to this proclaimed "Fitment Expert's" opinion take note of this and remember that anyone can access the internet and write things, but that doesn't make them true.

Here is the exact setup I inquired about, tell me how bad you think it fits in these pics?

Is it possible to run M-Systems/Turbines with adapters rather than going 5-lug? Would reasonably sized tires fit?

          That's exactly right.

Not possible, your final offsets would be close to zero. Then you'd be stuck with 195/45/17s and fender work to do.

15x8 +15 late model, rolled fenders. 225/50/15 work?

At +20 most only need to roll it flat. At +15 you might be looking at a slight pull on the rear.

                      thanks a lot :)

Will An e30 with late model arches, and a slightly "raised" coil over setup, for the winter, Fit a 255/40/17 on the back? Its an insanely large tire, but i found a deal on a set of blizzaks from a porsche and i need to get some snow rubber on my car

I have an 88ix. Will be mounting 16x7.5 et 35. I have 10mm spacers that I can maybe use? Anyway, I want to know if I can run a 225 tire, and if so, what would you recommend for the size. I had 225/50/15s, but 225/50/16 is an inch to big from what I see. And 225/45/16 aren't easy to find.

The section width of the tire would largely negate the benefits of the winter compound and tread. In other words, it's too wide to be useful on a lightweight E30 even if you did manage to fit them.

16" tire choices are pretty bad. A full set of 10mm spacers is actually ideal for those wheels with 225s. Look into 215/45/16, there's a couple of aggressive summer choices in that size.

I have a 88 325 with Billi Sport struts and H&R sport springs. I am wonder what the best performance tire option is? I only drive my car in the summer. I have no problem running a staggered set up, but I HATE the stretched tire look. I saw you mention the ARC-8's 17x8, is that about the best reasonably priced setup?
