Will this wheel tire/combo fit or is there any need for spacers/fender rolling.
Thanks!

Last couple questions:
Why doesn't a wider stance help handling? I mean, I guess a 5 mm difference might be negligible, or that after a certain width, its effectiveness would disappear, but if i think about a really narrow width vs a really wide width, there's a definite advantage.
And if there isn't an advantage, why are there so many people going crazy about getting their wheels flush? Is it just an aesthetics thing?
There's a limit to how far you can space out a wheel before the handling becomes unpredictable. I'm not smart enough to explain the science behind it. But in any case, the 5mm difference we're discussing has no effect on anything besides the tires rubbing on your fenders.
And yes, flush is 100% for aesthetics. Definitely not the fastest way around a track.

May i run these without spacers? And if so, tire size recommended.
Thank you in advance.

I will be dropped on billy hd shocks and handr sport springs
That said, a 16x9 +20 all around with a 205/45 would be a good start. Needs fender rolling.

You said in that thread (bottom of first page):
"No rubbing, unrolled fenders."
I have Ronal LSs with 225/50/15s on my e30 vert (also on HR/Bilstein sports) and no rub there without a fender roll so I figured I was good (although I think the LS offset is 24 as opposed to 20 - so that may be the difference).
Anyway, thanks for your help and please clarify this for me. If the 225/50/15s won't work without rolling, what size/brand would you recommend for a nice beefy all season tire?
PS - your taste is definitely impeccable and so is your knowledge
^ Shit like this, ladies and gents, is why it's damn hard to replace my time here with a chart. Ah well. :)

People seem torn between 205/55 and 205/50, what say you is best for a moderately lowered car?
The tires im getting are Yoko S drives.
I would go for the 205/55 but my KDWs are that right now and they seem like giant baloons. But Im afraid 205/50 would give me huge wheel gap and look undersized.
What say you oh great one?!
Thanks btw, you are awesome!

Would 205/65R15 fit then? It's only .7" "wider" on each side than stock, and there looks to be plenty of clearance (those are 185/70/14s):

Sorry if this has been covered, which it may have been already.
I am looking at TR C1's 15x7 with Et25 and Hankook R-S3's 225/45/15. I want to wider foot print because I like to do lapping days at the track. Will they clear the struts and not force me to roll the fenders/run spacers? The car is on H&R race springs with Bilstien struts.Originally posted by SonnyI am a meme for our community.

having trouble trying to decide between running 17x7.5 and 17 x 8.5 weaves, front and rear, or just run 17 x 8.5' s all round for ultimate dish. The 8.5's come in a 20mm or 25mm offset, intend to run a 235/40R17 on the rear when im due for tyres next and im leaning towards running a 25mm offset on the rear to make sure the tyre will fit under the guard.
Anyone run a 8.5" front and rear? just trying to work out which offsets because 60mm of dish is pretty nice :DJust a little project im working on
