    Brock B2 Questions...

I'm strongly considering getting a set of B2's for my car. Anybody have photos of an E30 with B2's? Give me your opinions of the wheels. I would like to stagger them, 7.5" width in the front and 9" in rear. Will I need to roll fenders with 16"s? What about spacers? I ran a search and read about B1's which are offered in the same sizes and offsets but the only thing I learned for sure is that I would need spacers if I ran 9"s in the front. Any other information you can offer would be appreciated. Thanks.

You asked for opinions so... I think they are ugly as hell. They look like they belong on a VW New Beetle. And for you to pull of 16x9" rims you'd have to lower your car another couple inches.

My sig pic is no longer accurate, I'm now running bilstein sports and H&R springs so it is about 1.25" lower

I couldn't really see them on a new Beetle but ok, I do want opinions

I know, I saw your thread and know your car is lowered. My point still stands: you'd have to come down a lot more.

Can you tell me why? I asked for opinions on the wheels but more specifically I'm looking for supported opinions. I'm not gonna change my opinion just because you don't like it. If you can tell me something about them that I might not have considered, that's what's gonna make me think twice about the wheels.

Anyway, here's a quick p-shop of them on my car. I estimated as well as I could on the size.

TJ, I AM considering what you said about needing to lower it more. That's the kind of input I'm looking for.

Wow. I imagined them looking bad, but that photoshop closes the case.

Someone please tell me what's bad about them! I'm sitting here staring at the photoshop I made and I don't dee it other than tha fact that the wheels don't match because one is painted and the other is polished (I plan on buying both painted) I usually agree with your tastes in wheels to a point. Everybody hates these and I don't get it. They are simple, not blingy at all, and in some ways resemble the throwing stars which have caused more wheel envy than any other rims in E30 history. I'm talking too much but I'm pretty confused, I didn't expect such a negative reaction.

Don't ever post an idea on this forum you don't want shot down.

Get 'em, it's an individuality thing. I love the lip.

Keep in mind I said "in some ways resemble throwing stars" also, I just looked at photos of your throwing stars and they aren't as similar as I remembered. But there are similarities, five thick spokes, the center of the wheel is fairly massive, the spokes curve back to the rim, the spokes get thin and then thick as they go out. The major differences are that the Brocks don't have a sharp lines and they aren't directional. The Brocks and throwing stars are very similar when compared to Jordan's wheels for example.

I had side-by-side photos to post but We-Todd-Did-Racing isn't working right now
They look sorta like skinny Contours.
