Here's a shot of them on a Jolf, not that this would help you...but it's an idea.

IMO, they're overweight and belong on a wrong wheel driven car....say, a volkswagen.

Maybe so but the motor won't be stock forever and I like the way the staggered setup looks. I like these wheels and right now I think I'll be getting them eventually. Here's another p-shop of them on my car, the offest isnt right but you can see how they look with the lines of the car.

M contours would look much better IMO, but now that i've seen them on an e30, i'm not completely against them

They are way to soft looking, like $100/each Niche rims made for all the cars on the market, etc.

Can you tell me why? I asked for opinions on the wheels but more specifically I'm looking for supported opinions.
because they are ugly? I don't see what I need to do to support my opinion. I think they are ugly, that is what I think. how about because they are ugly, and the spoke design sucks, and they are ugly. :P

I dont care for them. I believe there are better looking wheels out there with the same amount of dish.

Look, you don't HAVE to support your opinion but just saying that it's ugly doesn't do anybody any good. Tell me you think the spokes are too thick, the lines aren't sharp enough. I know that not everybody has the same taste and I want to know if the reason you don't like it is just a difference in taste or something bad about the design that I failed to notice. Maybe I don't think it's so hard to give a good critique because I'm a designer and I do that kind of stuff every day.

Anyway, nobody has convinced me that they are wrong for E30s. I do like them, I wish they had sharper lines but I still think they are good looking wheels and since I found those photos of them on the E30 I'm pretty sure I'll be getting them.

When you say they are "soft looking" do you mean you want them to have more sharp lines? Are you saying they look generic? plain? Aren't B1s or Jardan's Mille Miglias just as generic or more so? (Don't mean to offend anyone, I like both wheels I just mentioned but they are pretty plain. To me this is a good thing)

Yes, they look cheap, generic, plain, etc. I don't like Jordan's rims either.

Those rims look ok on a Jetta because Jettas are soft and bubbly. E30's are much to boxy and sharp to work with those rims.
