These precision laser cut door plates are designed to reinforce your door to prevent further damage, or also are good preventative maintenance.
The plates are 10 gauge steel HRPO Grade 50 and ready for paint. They fit perfectly and only take 10 minutes or less per side to install.

The install is super easy!
Here are the tools you need: 3/8" drive ratchet, TORX T30 socket, Flat head screwdriver, hammer (I used an old ratchet) and an extension/punch.
1. Remove the circlip from the pin on the door stop arm. I used my fingers and a screwdriver
2. Hammer out the pin. I used a 3/8" drive extension, but a punch works great too!
A screwdriver might be needed to get it out all the way:
3. Remove the rubber boot and remove the two screws using a TORX T30 socket
4. Slide the door plate and rubber boot over the arm with the noncurved side facing out.
5. Slide the pin in very lightly to hold the arm up
6. Align the door stop to the holes in the door. I find that if you screw in one hole as shown and push the door open hard that the door stop wont move after you remove the screw.
Notice how my door's metal is very torn.
7. Tighten the screws loosely and pull the plate out towards the door to align it straight.
8. Tighten the screws all the way and slide the rubber boot on. Hook the rubber boot on the bottom and then stretch it over the top bolt
9. Hammer the pin back in
10. Admire your now fixed door :)
