179 is physically the same as a 173, it's just a different tune.

Yea the I could a 150 to but the 179 has the best tune for my motor.

Buy a 173 and a performance M30 chip.

Why not a 179 and a chip. Idk were to even get a chip from only ones I've found raise the rev count which really does nothing unless your way up to those revs.

O haha I found a 179 firebird hooked it up for the same price as the 173's and he said hes got a cabinet full of ecus so if i ever need one I know where to go
