R3V-
To absolutely no surprise to anyone who has seen more than 3 posts in a build thread of mine, I'm selling the 530iT that I just picked up. I don't have the time for a fifth car. Good thing is, it really doesn't need much to be a hawt cruiser.
This car is a really good foundation for someone looking to get into a 530iT that's already manual swapped and has had a bunch of common E34 problems addressed. The car has 226K on it and has had a slew of recent maintenance. It doesn't need much to get it where I wanted. I have a huge stack of maintenance records for the car as well.
The car needs a rear bumper, a PDR guy, and interior love. Interior is typical for E34s, sagging door panels, sunroof headliner not there, etc.
Price: $3K*
Location: 46013
*This price includes a set of Italian Style 37 reps (need tires)
Pros:
* Paint shines up nice
* Rust free!!
* New V-rated tires with less than 10,000 miles on them on the factory wheels
* New clutch put in about 20,000 miles ago
* Rebuilt shifter linkage and short throw shifter
* Clutch pedal rebuilt, plus new master cylinder, slave cylinder done about 3,000 miles ago
* Throttle pedal rebuilt
* New Front strut inserts done about 20,000 miles ago
* New refurbished A/C compressor, blower motor resistor, and blower motor
* Front brakes and rotors replaced under 10,000 miles ago
* new valve cover gaskets
* new water pump, thermostat, upper radiator hose, secondary water pump
* New plugs, coil and a bunch of other "tune up" related items
Cosmetic Cons:
* Dent in passenger quarter. Should be easy for a PDR guy to pop out
* Rear bumper is shot. Found another for $100, should be a straightforward swap.
* Small crack in front plastic bumper trim.
* Weird paint chip on hood and upwards dent towards front of hood
Mechanical Cons:
* It's leaky. No huge leaks, just more of the typical E34 seeping.
* Sunroof inop
* Other small stuff I'm sure, it's an E34
* Rear seat belt buckle shell not there
* Interior has various stains and typical E34 door card peeling
