I would get Bosch or Bremi (maybe Karlyn), not some cheap alternative. Buy once, cry once, and don't worry about your ignition system for the next 30 years.

If you're getting plugs, I've had bad experiences with Bosch (WR8LC+) and will only use NGK (ZGR5A) at this point for the e30

    Blunttech Bremi

The NGK ZGR5A has the nickel electrodes.
Platinum NGKs will be more expensive.

It works, you just unscrew the tip.

Premature failure of the plugs, specifically hairline fracturs in the ceramic causing intermittent misfires. It's happened on two sets that I've bought recently, one for my '91 325i and then another set for my '89 325i. Both were only a year or two old with less than 10k miles on them.

Maybe it's bad luck, maybe its getting tossed around too much in shipping. I've never had problems with NGK, so that's what I've switched to.
