e30 m3 interior- what’s it worth

Hey guys, i have a full e30 m3 interior in my car that’s in really good shape original leather. no tears or rips. color is a bit faded - black. fully functional seats. not heated or anything special. only in perfection is really the seem spreading near the rear window, not fully apart but it’s slowly coming.

wanted to know what it’s worth? are people really getting the prices i see on ebay? 1500$ for just the fronts. opinions appreciated. thanks

I saw tan rear seats for sale in California for 3500$ Who knows if they actually sell though

You have to look at "sold" listings, not asking prices. Parts are worth whatever someone is willing to pay for them. I sold a set of early diving board fog lights a couple weeks ago for $150 plus shipping, so who knows anymore lol.

I took a look at some of the sold listings last night on ebay. nothing really sold recently. never mind a full set. I see people asking 1500-3000 for the front seats alone. not really sure what to think. idk if they will get that much

There has been an M3 rear seat up for sale for more than half a year on another forum for $1800.

The rear M3 seats I have seen actually sell trade hands between $800-1200.

Front M3 seats are just normal coupe sport seat frames with horizontal stitching, so they’re not crazy rare and can be easily replicated.

So the only value added for you would be if yours are OEM leather and in good shape, and thus would be of value to someone with an M3 already without front seats that wants a stock leather match.

I sold original black M3 front seats for $750 not too long ago.

If you’re looking to maximize value, offering your full interior as a full setup will benefit a potential buyer the most, IMO, and is worth $2500-3500 if in excellent shape. But most sports seats, even with good leather, have several broken parts that are often overlooked when advertised.
