Thats right doggie! Drove the e30m30 4 first time lastnight

Oh man - can you say torque? We just did a short run around the block last night - motor runs great (even with no O2 sensor in the exhaust)

Going to get the rest button'ed up tonight, and exhaust done tommrow.

    How does it run?

Awesome - 1st gear is all the wheel spin you could ever want (well at least on 14' weaves) and 2nd is not far off. And that not slipping the clutch - we did a rolling start and that was at about 3/4 throttle - We really didn't push it hard (this was the FIRST RUN)

More to come... in a few days.

    Fucking right doggie!!!

Well I been driving the car for a few days now - and almost as soon as we finished the swap it started raining (it hasn't rained here for 6 months!)

Yea, you think wheel spin is easy in the rain with a m20 - try a m30 - holly god...I don't think I could ever make it 10 feet on ice.

When the streets are dry the car is amazing - I CAN feel a bit of weight in the front (spring and roll bars and CF hood are all options). But this car is so much fun to drive. Any RPM above 2k and the motor throws you back into the seat. Nice...

I've been going slow - pushing the car a little harder with each drive in the dry - and it's just FEELS so nice. Any RPM any gear - the car just GOES....

The motor is SO smooth and make a wounderful mechantical sound(I'm temp running the stock m20 exhaust)..

Can't wait for it to clear up so I can really get this thing going.

Seriously, I would look into forced induction in the future. m30's are stout

I won't rule it out - but I've put $3-4k into the motor swap, and I am tempted to just leave it non-FI. NOS interestes me...just cause it easy power(even if it is "cheating")

I can't imagine what a turbo m30 would be like in a e30. I sure as hell don't have the breaks or suspention to handel that right now(bone stock car)...Trust me. It's already too fast for the stock set up.
