    Fender rolling necessary?

    Merry Christmas, all,

Curious, will a 318is sitting on 15x7 et15 wheels on 205 55 tires, lowered on H&R race springs require fender rolling?

Kind of kicking myself in the ass for not just ordering et25s, but I'm past the point of no return (literally) at this point (already mounted and balanced, but not yet installed).

    Thanks,
    Ross

I think you will JUST clear the rear when squatting over dips in the road, it will be close. The front may contact the lip around the guard opening at the top when steering is at 80% lock.. ie.. reversing out a driveway. Depends how low it goes but that lip is usually always a trouble point. Rolling that lip isn't easy either without repainting it.

225/45/16 on 16x8 ET20 requires fender rolling at stock height or lower, at least with wide 200TW tires, some all seasons will be narrower. You have less tire width, an inch less wheel width and are only 5mm further out on offset, so still 8mm more space between wheel and fender than my setup. I can't see the fenders needing rolling, but I've also never had my car H&R Race low.
