So i bought my e30 for $200, given the price it was and still is missing a great many things. Im currently trying to figure out how the positive cable wiring works, i know some e30s have a terminal block but mine doesnt have one, i was told that the positive battery cable comes straight from the fuse box. Can anyone help me out with more information? Are the 2 wires below both meant to be connected to the battery itself or do I need to swap them out for a single cable?

did you try looking at the etm for the routing ? verts have the battery up front in that tray and do not have a power block at that location.
to trace wiring and components download the appropriate etm for your car and year. there are vert specific manuals. Index of /Manuals/BMW (wedophones.com)

Download and save your ETM for when that site ceases to exist.sigpic

Those are aftermarket power cables. Try googling images of what the cable is supposed to look like."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj
