    door frame trim/moulding install question

When installing outer door frame trim and b pillar trim cover... what is the best way to proceed? Install clip side first and than push it over the door frame or vice versa? I don't want to mess it up.

I disassembled 12 E30 doors this week, and the only way to remove D and F was to release the clips first, so IMO installation should be clips last.

Also F goes on before D, but you probably know that.

yeah i got the disassembly part.. it's relatively straight forward.. Just want to make sure I get it assembled as it was designed to be assembled...without messing t up in the process

Yeah, my point was that, if they only release a certain way, installation is likely the opposite of that.

Garageaholic did this recently on the E30M3 he’s putting together on his YT channel. He did clips last, may check out that video for the reinforcement
