it's more the car aged out and got too expensive at the same time. younger guys can't access them like they used to so the community surrounding the car aged with it. the same vibe still happens to some degree but has moved to other car platforms.

Still here, still lurking, still looking for the time to work on the E30. Typical scenario - life, other cars, work getting in the way. I refuse to give up on the two I have knowing I won't get squat if I sell them and won't be able to afford them later to get back into 'em.

Haven't been to the E30 FB section. Reddit is going the way of FB for sure with all the ads and sponsored content BS.

Bring back abject jealousy over what others have, and r3v will rise.

Oi. Life, and time are funny.

Think back to what you actually had when you joined.
If i thought back to those times and looked at people like us, i would think "you guys are rich"...

...just a lot of poor spending habits LOL. between the guns, the house, the 4 dogs, $3000 cat, the cars, stuff for the cars, brand new zero turn, etc.

Would love to get another E30, nice ones are far too much. The wheel/tire setup on my BRZ is about what I paid for my last E30.

Someone got some 5x100 17" BBS RS Centers?

Well, in a week I will post the 323i tribute thread. Hope I can get the pictures to work:)
How can we get more people interested in this forum; should we be doing some donations too?

I check on here every week. Still have the e30 I bought from a member here.

I also went to the picnic this year, flew in from Florida. The Henna red MT1 was awesome.

I have the euro bumpers and all the Alpina parts. They have been sitting for over 10 years. Need to get my act together, just need a euro valence.

If you have some time, a thread on the e21 would be nice too. That's on my short lists of projects to get next.

I don't want to see this forum go the way that e30tech.com did. Although the spark seems to be gone, I feel there's still a ton of potential for this site. Also, I've never visited the FB site mentioned, and killed my FB account around 2019. Fuck the oligarchy.
