    E30 rear subframe

I need a new rear subframe for my 89 E30 (bent). Considering Ireland Engineering reinforced subframe. Anyone have any thoughts or recommendations on Ie or a better alternative. (89 325 S52)

One is issue you are forced to use the posilolck / serrated adjustment kit.
Personally i dont think you need a reinforced subframe either

+1- I don't like the serrated toe adjuster at all. Camber, sure- but that's not the one that slips...

The stock subframe's not a particularly weak part of the E30- what are your particular requirements? (as in, are you running a 500 ft-lb sCummins?)

you can weld in reinforcements and the camber kit yourself. there are kits you can get which allows you to choose how far to go.

i would buy a good used one and have it refinished stock unless you want to alter alignment.

if you want minor adjustment then the eccentric bushes seem like the better option (having done the adjustment mods eccentric bolt myself there are some things that are not thought out well at all and most bushes are not designed to properly to interface with the adjustable ones)

A thread with food for thought
