My fiance loves my cars as long as I balance time with her. We have an agreement that 1 day a weekend is for my cars and the other is for her. I'm also building an E30 for her. We are arguing over auto or manual since its auto now. She DDs a manual tranny (plus 50 sexy points) so she says she doesn't want to worry about it in her fun car. *shrugs*

I'm trying to get her to an autox or two but shes scared ppl will laugh at her. Altho, I doubt that highly.

    Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

My wife (then girlfriend) liked my first E30, until at 250K miles or so the open sunroof began raining rust on her head over bumps. She began to get a bad opinion of the E30s then, and was delighted when I sold it and got an E36. She loved the E36 - I didn't. The only thing I loved about that car was the drivetrain ;)

Needless to say, she was not exactly thrilled with the aquisition of my current E30, but once the project was done she enjoyed the result! She especially loves the ice-cold A/C, and wouldn't ride in the car without it.

She has (mostly) made peace with me having a "second girlfriend", but that has to end now for a little while :(

She hates it. Wants my old 2002 back.

She does drive an e30, though. Stick even.

She bought me a 2002 for christmas 4 years ago. So yeah, she's cool.

To be honest you should be asking yourself this and you know it.

"What does my e30 think of my wife/girlfriend?!"

My girlfriend thinks it's cool. She loves it alot more than my mkII Jetta. She tells me that she can respect someone who is passionate about something. Anything, even if it's a bucket like my car.

I think I found that mythical unheard of woman who loves my E30 almost more than I do! Each time she sees it, she gasps and says how beautiful it is. Sometimes, she even jokes that if I didn't have one she wouldn't have started dating me.

Yes, I really am the luckiest E30 owner on earth :)

meh, my girlfriend goes back and forth. she's sick of my current e30 (black seats, no a/c, had a lot of problems when i first got it) but very much looking forward to my m52turbo e30.

yes, sometimes she complains about how much time i spend on forums and money i spend on my car, but then again she's incredibly happy that i'm not into drugs or something instead.

She likes the car. i only know this because when meeting a freind of hers, the freind asked about the car. Or maybe shes just caught on early that car flattery is good

But anyway now she just accepts it.
