So I was at brody's working on his car, then... his roommate calls to ask for a ride. Since his car was out of commission we took mine. It had just thunderstorm. I started driving come around this turn. I see this 8 inch log in the road, forgotten that I have a reiger lip and splitter and lowered. I drove right into it.

THUMP~! I say oh well keep driving. At the stop light I say lets check I'm kind of unsure... sure enough the lip was back 2 blocks away. I turn around drove back as quick as I can, with the thought of this 3 piece thing broken in the middle of the road. I see see another car by drove by and I'm like oh shit... then I see this bus (greyhound type) that drove through it... I'm thinking I'm fucke ndone for... I be lucky if it not 10 pieces.

I obviously ran over it myself... and I get back there and it was sitting in the middle of the road...

NOT 1 SCRATCH. No damage, not even the moutnign points were damaged... nothing. slap it on and kept driving. all I gotta say is splitter FTMFW. cause god knows that reiger wouldnt have survive it along, much less after getting run over by a car and a bus.

my are the ones me and brody made. from 3/16 abs. its thicker than ryans and it extends 1.5 inches back and covers the entire underside of the whole lip and doesnt taper off. I think thats the reason the side of my reiger didnt break off.

lol, i once hit a tire going 80mph and cracked the shit out of my Evo 2 lip spoiler. I was so pissed. After that, I went down the local plastics place and had a full undercarriage adjustable splitter made to reinforce the spoiler. I've hit so many things including parking blocks and it does it's job. Takes the brunt of the force while protecting the spoiler and of course provides more downforce.

haha I waited for ryan g for couple month and he didnt get it out. So I made my own and started selling them on the forum. If you want you can pm me when you need a splitter. Besides I'm in MD. and if you come to the meet you would know who I am. But yea get a splitter as soon as you get a lip.

I don't think Ryan G is making them anymore, which is why Yun and I started making and selling our own. Ours are also much thicker and extend farther front and back than Ryan G's splitters do. We also make them for the IS as well.

my brother hit a rough patch of road during construction and didnt realize til he got home that his iS lip and RyanG splitter had fallen off. He drove back to see if it was still there, and amazingly it was sitting by the side of the road without a scratch on it
