Dude you sound like I did a few months back. Was gonna get rid of the wifes e90 for a e39 540it but couldnt find one in the price range I wanted plus the cooling system issues with them scared me away. Ended up selling the e30 and buying a e34 525it non vanos for 2k. But I regret not holding out for a e39, those are the best looking wagons around period.Comment

i don't know if its been said, but you could get a super clean ford explorer or mercury mountaineer for that price range. Not the best on gas but lots of room and reliable.

Thar she is. Leather is amazing, grey, rims are immaculate, DSP sound, huge trunk, 6-CD changer (bleh), more importantly it has a cassete deck up front (whod have thought they could be useful again) to hook up my MP3 player. And crap navigation. FUck its nice though to have some technology coming from a 1986 BMW I feel like Im in a fuckin Rolls. Not too much but just enough. DUal climate control to me is like flying De Loreans. Seat memory? telescopic steering wheel? Wow welcome to 2001, Mariano.
