The "smart" thing to do would be to invest it in something so you can get a bigger return on your money in the future, but obviously the fun thing to do would buy a new E30.

I dont think I was to keep the M42 though

say I buy another e30, what would give me the most bang for my buck
(in other words what is the one thing you would buy for a fresh e30?)
lowering springs, motor work, nicer wheels/tires, and so on?
You have Honda = I talk shit

All maintanence items, all new suspension components (including a drop).

Then wheels and tires, then power.

eh. Just put it away until your ready for a down payment on a house. Dont waste your money on car stuff unless you can really afford it.

.... Im assuming you're young.. WHy else would you ask a car forum what you should do with your money..

If you are indeed getting $20k from that settlement, then I would surely use it as a downpayment on a house or condo. The market is very weak now and you can probably buy something great at 60% its original price. Your mortgage will also be the same as a monthly rent. So, it is a no brainer...
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.
