Scribble it all out and write

    "JK LOL" on it

don't change anything, get granted as many stays as possible, and then if you do show up and the cop does too, more grounds to get you off your ticket.

never had a run in with portland biker cops before, then again I'm always on a bmx probably different if I was on a skateboard. Then again cops are cops what can ya do but avoid them. Oh yah, I got a speeding ticket dismissed cause the cop put my moms name on the ticket somehow. one point for me!

In California the judge will throw out the ticket if there are errors made (by the officer on it) No clue about Oregon.

                They don't care in KS.
                A) you still committed the alleged offense
                B) they can always amend the ticket to account for the mistake
                C) It is a police mistake and the courts won't care a bit they will tell you to file a complaint with the police

I had a ticket in my 79 Cadillac yellow for speeding cop wrote the ticket for a silver 91 Cadillac and looked at my Bmw insurance and never ask about the difference, and the court was like who cares pay us. And this is the same prosecutor I plea with in the Law Clinic at school, so good luck getting a break, because of a mistake on the ticket.

I got a ticket last week, in washington state you can have 1 ticket deferred from your record every 7 years, as long as you don't get a ticket within a year of the deferrment period. definetly check out your state laws, most people just suck off to the man and pay the ticket without realizing they don't neccesarily have to. they might not have the same program, but there may be a way to avoid insurance penalties and have the fine reduced.

Wrong state? Like they wrote down Oregon or something?

Well assuming you live in the state of Washington, all you really have to do is, prove to the judge that you were in and only in the state of Washington when the ticket was issued, therefore the ticket would have no relevance to you.
