I like how everyone thinks having an automatic makes it a $1500 parts car.

what does a manual swap cost these days, $700?

not only that, it's not like the convertable E30 lends itself to performance driving. It's a cruiser - just drive the dang thing and enjoy it.

Id buy this Bronzit/vert/autotragic in a minute.

I think you can get 6k, mainly on the mileage and the hardtop.

Some people like autos. For some of the time. I wouldnt want it every day, for every drive but they are nice to have.

63k miles. Dont see that low mileage often.

You must definately do the following:

        Timing belt
        FCABS
Tie rods, end links, maybe. With that mileage probably just the FCABS for now
Tires make all the difference in handling
Not feeling those Futuras, but hey if you like um... cool. Id get some Ronal LS's or BBS. This car deserves them.

Sweet lil Bimmer bro. I like it, even if it is Bronzit.....

i'd sell it for $5000 without the hardtop. in fact, i think you could probably get $6000 for it without the hard top.

then i'd sell the hard top separately, for $1000.

r3v is incredibly cheap. and they dont realize that AMURICA actually prefers automatics. having a manual makes it a harder sell for most cars.

well I bought a '93 green vert that had a hair more miles in just as good of condition for under $4 and it was a 5 speed..... no hard top though, but it did come with real 16 inch BBS wheels.

Been driving my '91 vert (yes, even bronzit) for about two years now, and let me tell you, the ladies cant keep their eyes off! So yes, modding is often the way to go and honestly here might not be the place to sell, but at the end of the day, lets be honest, who are you going to take home? A memeber of the sausage infested R3V forum, or a nice young gal who couldnt give a shit about an e30 except how it looks?!

So I can personally appreciate this "classy" and clean car and GLWS!

The exact same car (condition and miles) in zinno, with a 5spd and plastic bumpers would probably be worth around $6500. Unfortunatly yours is probably only worth ~3500 to 4500 because of the color, tranny and bumpers (and the bottlecaps look like poo and make it harder to sell to a less informed buyer). Sorry.

I have no idea why I'm posting in this old thread when the op has 4 posts and has not been on r3v since this thread was new and will never see this post.

No one on here is going to pay over 6k. It looks like that is what it's worth though. It looks like it's never been driven

It's a nice car but certainly not anything extraordinary. It's got a few things that will deter younger R3v-like enthusiasts...automatic, convertible, bronzit-beige metallic paint and diving board bumpers. It's the later face lift verts that are highly desirable and a lot harder to come by. Yes you can do 5 speed swaps even repaint but why bother? You can still find clean E30's in more desirable colors with the tranny you want. 5-6K sounds right, to the right buyer, who probably isn't on this forum.
