            japandrew, you'll be fine just dont cut corners in case you come across a cop who is a bmw enthusiast and gives you a ref ticket. then you need to have it ok to be bar'd

              Thanks for the tip, but I'm actually a super safe driver. We'll see how that turns out when the swap is done, but I'm pretty good about staying under the radar. I'll make sure not to take shortcuts.

                What happened to the original OEM plans, I guess that shit hit the fan when the MT1 kit was bolted on there. I'm just glad that you've come to grips with the fact that like every single person on here, you're simply modding your E30.

                +1 for the B35.

                  better have a super quiet exhaust on there then. chp and local cops pull you over for anything in my area. dont know how it is down by the beach

                        My M10 is still running strong, I drove it for 3 months with the temp gauge on red while I was fixing cooling gremlins. Turned out my water pump was leaking, my thermostat was welded open, my radiator was almost entirely clogged, and my belts weren't tight so the fan clutch wouldnt work.
                        Engine runs fine to this day, M10's are slow but really strong.

                          Well yea, everyone is modding their car when the add things to it. It all depends on what you choose to add that determines the car.

                          Although the M30 of course wasn't an option for the e30, the mtech 1 kit could be ordered for any e30. I still plan on using only BMW parts for my car.

                            You have my support. You’ve shown grit via your other threads – and it sounds like it’ll take some grit to properly perform the m30 swap. You strike me as the kind of guy that realizes mistakes are learning experiences and that doing research before-hand pays off exponentially.

                              your realize by swapping in this motor you need parts never offered by bmw... like the motor mounts, unless you plan to find mounts made by alpina...
