Yea probably, if I ever did any torque-specific jobs I'd just go buy a new one but I never do. :-/

180 turn aka 2 90 turns is not equal to the missing 10lbs. Where did u get this info? It seems very iffy to me. Plus 22lbs is very very low. That can't be more then 1 or 2 turns past finger tight. Doesn't seem very tight for a seal.
Did you re-use the old headbolts?

I dont think it would affect it's accuracy at all because head bolts don't "Break" loose, they just budge a little at a time (at least in my experience). Mine is one of the old style wrenches like so: http://priuschat.com/shop/images/torque.jpg
I could see a newer style "clicky" wrench being a lot more fragile to this.

Sorry to bump the old thread btw. lol
I have both, a clicking style and a flex bar torque wrench. Definitely nice to have both since I can check the torque on some bolts and the rotating assembly when the motor is all apart.

I believe they're still pretty accurate for the most part. The new style clicking torque wrench definitely goes out of spec a lot quicker and easier than the flex style.
I got a fender roller now! LMK if you need me to roll your fenders or want to rent the tool from me locally.
