A good plus to having properly valved shocks though is that your ride is going to be also better on the street :)

I'm actualy going for the unbearable ride on the street thing. Noob question: Why does it make a difference having them revalved? I don't know much about how they work, but I awas under the belief that since there is little travel as longs as you have shocks for lowered springs it won't matter?WTT: 1989 325i w/ many mods for stock e28. Pm me if interested.Comment

in theory, shocks control the springs.......JS's are very very hi rates...the car will porpoise around like a slammed Honda w/ really bad valving...I'm actualy going for the unbearable ride on the street thing. Reading through other threads, most if not all people are satisfied with this set-up. I was originally going with hr-race but their too soft for the drop, and I don't want coil-overs. Also, I have heard some refer this setup as to the best handling setup for the money.WTT: 1989 325i w/ many mods for stock e28. Pm me if interested.Comment
