I'm ordering some metal today, I can tell you that the price will be over $40 for sure.

no, but I grabbed it and tried shaking it around and its very strong and sturdy.
I ordered the metal online just now so I can get everything perfect, places like home depot don't have the right sizes or gauges of the metal I need. It should be at my house by next week, I'll get a final version, have all the cuts, holes, and welds be as perfect as I can make them, I'll paint it up, show it off and go into production.

Nice. On the one you posted you didn't do this it doesn't look like but will you weld the bracket to the light tube on both sides?

I was thinking more for vibration. I had a high-beam come a bit loose, and on the freeway it would turn into a strobe light with the smallest vibration - that's all.

I'll let you know about vibrations when I drive it, if so I'll use some rubber washers.

the silver brackets come with the hella 500's and they will not be welded because then it makes it so you can't run any other light other than the Hella 500's.

Front side is welded but the backside where the plate meets the metal tubing it is not welded. Production model will be welded all the way around where it meets?

its just enough to clear the hood.
Ah, understood, I thought that was a new bracket. I'll still take that if you want to sell, I have some ideas I want to work on for my IX but no time to fab.

its welded on top and underneath, but if you would like all sides welded i will do that, I tried for an hour to brake off a flange that I welded a little crooked and I simply couldn't, with the way its currently welded you won't have any problems.

here's what I would try to include in a full rally light kit(thats still the prototype bar pictured, and probably the white covers for the lights).
