    Front side is welded but the backside where the plate meets the metal tubing it is not welded. Production model will be welded all the way around where it meets?
    its welded on top and underneath, but if you would like all sides welded i will do that, I tried for an hour to brake off a flange that I welded a little crooked and I simply couldn't, with the way its currently welded you won't have any problems.

    Ah, understood, I thought that was a new bracket. I'll still take that if you want to sell, I have some ideas I want to work on for my IX but no time to fab.
