The differences are not that much IIRC. Pan, oil pump, dip stick tube - anything else?

the boss for the dip stick isn't there on regular blocks

the entire oil pump setup is different. you can't simply bolt on an ix pump to an i block. it won't work.

too bad you're ruining what was an otherwise decent car. there's been quite a few tools who have driven their ix's into the ground.
