Yes.

But "the same thing" is a completely different setup than just new bulbs, it involves bulbs containing a xenon gas capsule hooked up to a ballast that fires 120kV of juice through them to get it ignited. An arc of electricity then forms in the xenon capsule inside the bulb, giving off the light, rather than in a traditional halogen setup where a W filament is heated to give off light.

Dunno, mine hit a little wider but its almost moot at that point, road Im about to pass. In front the lows hit almost to the front of the car and light in front of the car hurts long rage eyesight anyway. I think mine (the early style) are intended to be actual fogs instead of driving lights.

I have heard great things about McLLuoch HID kit on eBay, and I plan on buying them sometimes in the future. They are cheap too, a little over $300 if I remembered right.
