I'm blown away at how good Alonso did considering how his tranny was working. Even though he broke down, he showed everyone he's more than capable as a driver and someone who has to be watched.

What was being 'reported' is that a new material was used in the suspension component manufacturing (they are going back to the previously used part design/build method for this weekend). Whether this true or not has yet to be validated....but then again, this is F1. You never show all your cards to your opponents or spectators. Even after you win.

I saw it during practice live on tv. It looked like a movie on how it blew. Buemi immediately slammed the brakes (the ones he had left) and must've had a horror look on his face when it happened.
Rosberg is really pushing hard and maintaining himself at the top of the pack. It's a bit dissapointing that his performance is somewhat overshadowed by his teammate. :(
