I am tired of Webber's dangerous defensive driving, I like the guy's straight talk, but too many times he has gone way beyond good judgment. Vettel has half a car length on you, set up for the next turn and take him back like Hamilton did. I know Vettel created the situation so I am not saying he isn't at fault, but really how many times does Webber have to pull this? Webber pushing Massa all the way to the pit wall at Japan two years ago stands out as one of the most dangerous defensive moves I have seen in a long time.

Last year Webber tried to take out a Braun off the start [forget who]

I think Vettel was expecting Webber to move over to the racing line. I bet its a combo of Webber not wanting to give way, small mirrors, and Vettel thinking Webber would move.

323Nathan is gonna be on you like stink on shit..

Both drivers and the team are to blame, but yes Weber should have conceded the spot and Vettel should have let the team know he was going to challenge Weber,,,, who is known to be a tough driver to pass for the very reason you bring up. However, when its your teamate you have to be a little more courtious.

I dont know that McMerc will be to happy about the interteam racing either as they also made contact, could have easily led to a flat tire or worse.

I agree fully, I am sure Hamilton the whole time was just like, "Peace bitches" when they crashed. Wish Button had made the move stick, rather he get the win than Hamilton, but that isn't saying much.

I liked his obvious restraint to start dropping F-bombs. Hilarious press conference, especially him and Lewis reenacting the crash while Jenson was talking.

Well, something was to happen at the front with the 4 top guys going at it like that. I think Vettel wants to assert himself at the top. Had they not come together Im pretty confident that Vettel would have won the race.

                Needless to say, GREAT race.

Look at the size of the man, he would wipe the floor with any of the other drivers, Schumacher's jaw excepted.

I don't really have anything to say, the video footage is pretty conclusive to me. Yeah he didn't make it easy for him to pass, but thats exactly what every other driver would have done, fighting for position and the lead of the championship. He's far from the most aggressive driver on the grid.

                      says it all really

                      Other angle:

                      Nowhere near the racing line

On the defense, I don't think there is anyone more aggressive on the grid. Coulthard was worse by far though. Like I said, I am not excusing Vettel, just saying, get back on the race line and make the pass back if you don't have the inside line. Hindsight is 20/20 of course.

Is anyone else surprised that vettel didnt even try to limp back to the pit. His car looked driveable to me. His right rear tire was fucked but it looked driveable to me. He had about a min on the 8th place car... could have possibly salvaged a point out of it.

I liked Weber's comment that Vettel made a hard right in the press confrence basically taking no fault and he also said it was his race to win, as Vettel had already pulled a half car on him as they touched.

I think his suspension was broken, or that might have just been the lack of a a right rear but it seemed to not want to move when he did try to drive it back onto the track.

He's got the same attitude Raikkonen had, so no, not really surprised.
