anyone remember or know about the realiability issues from the turbo days? or the lack of it?

im not sayingt that with modern technology the cars will be unreliable, but i am saying that it will for sure mix things up!

Kobash is confirmed for Sauber next year, I for one am happy to hear that.

Restrictor plate racing yeehaw.... I understand why the manufacturers would want to be more green. But seriously what race fan gives a shit about green. I want to see v8's or 10's turning 20k rpm while eating my steak in front of a bonfire drinking my beer from an aluminum can and belching methane into the air. Racing and green just dont go together, how many enviro freaks do you see wearing Ferrari shirts?

If they want to go green make them all electric, the technology exists and the torque on the cars would be amazing.

In before the team orders stuff later... So its come out that Ferrari don't like the proposed 2013 engine... They're threatening to leave if a 1.8L V6 isn't chosen instead of the turbo 4... They seem to threaten to leave every season! haha

Being as how restricted the new turbo engines will be, I don't really predict any more reliability issues than what exists so far.

Same here... I'd really like to see him eventually end up in a mid to front running car.

Seriously, nothing further for Ferrari? If you wear red in F1 you can automatically get away with murder. Cool story bro.

I don't think there should have been a penalty at all, there has never been a penalty given for this sort of action over the past few years, from BMW making Heidfeld let Kubica by in Montreal to numerous Ferrari and McLaren actions in the past three years.

The team should not favor the driver if they are having a 1-2 finish. If Alonso is truly faster than Massa, let's see it show on the track, not over a radio command. The team still scored the same amount of points on that race.

With the new "Formula" announced, I see engine cooling as being the greatest obstacle for constructors to overcome. With the horsepower goals being met with reduced fueling and combined with boost, I see them running super-lean and hot.

I'm all for a boosted engine formula. I'm against fuel restrictions and engine limits. I would prefer to see the old F1, where you have a choice of N/A 3.0L or boosted 1.5L. You pick the cylinder count & configuration. Turbo 4s & V6s competing against screaming V12s made a great soundtrack & great racing.

Why is Ferrari against the new formula? Name a current Fiat powerplant using boost. I'm not sure there is any besides the 1.4L T-Jet, which doesn't really set the world on FIRE (pun intended). I think Ferrari is very, very scared.

The Redbull surprisingly seems to be going decent at Monza through practice, for what that is worth. Vettel turned in some very good times, hopefully he can repeat the success he had here when he won his first GP. I know a lot of yall hate on Vettel now but I don't care, he is still my favorite driver with Kimi gone!

I like him a lot. He just needs to mature a little bit. I am hoping he doesn't go all Lewis Hamilton bitchy on us though.

I hope Massa can make it a Ferrari 1-2 and get Alonso back into the fight
