Kimi didn't crash in the first stage of the WRC Swedish Rallye! Okay it was only 1.8km long so its not really that impressive, but you got to take things as they come. He is currently in 8th. Real stages begin early tomorrow morning.

As for the Toro Rosso and RBR I think the STR has a much different shape in front of the driver, especially with the much larger "Nipples" or whatever you want to call them that stick up about half way between the seat and the front wing. Anyone know what that vent is for btw? The Ferrari has a small one as well, possibly cooling? The Exhaust comes out on either side of it so that isn't it.

The RBR and STR cars look the same again! I love how they are not allowed to be the same team and have 'split' since last year but the designs of the cars look the same again.

Out of the new cars so far, it looks like the lotus has a more serious design with its intricate front wing, compared to the virgin racing "cfd only" stuff.

haha it will be funny if and when the Virgin car is 5 seconds a lap slower than everyone else, that will teach them!

Virgin car to me looks more like an Indy car than a F1 car.

haha Thats the exact same thing I said when I saw it.

Its interesting to see how much more complicated the wings and diffusers are starting to become vs last year. The cars are starting to look like 08 with all the little nuances minus the winglets on the side pods.

I am so pumped about this year, I cant wait for it to begin.

I imagine traffic will play a huge roll this year as I suspect there to be some cars that will be lapped and the leaders are going to have to be good at making clean passes and not be held up.

Newey already ragged on thier CFD shit, but then again he's one of the greatest car designers of all time so I guess he can.

I cannot find a good picture of the back of the STR but they both hove the large vent in the middle of the engine cover.



Some other teams have a vent that is in the center of the engine cover, but the STR and RBR look the exact same.

Hopefully the fact that he's a permanent driver this year doesn't change his style we've seen during his toyota races.

Except they're using cosworth engines so they won't be fastest in a straght line. ;)
