A sad day - Mike Swale is selling his M3...

I'm not sure what to say, but all I can say is that he must have his reasons.

    Old news.

Either way I doubt it will be going anywhere at that price. Badass as all hell or not, $35k is obscene for a e30.

If mint stock e30 m3s can go for $25k as I've seen them go for that much here in Florida, he'll definetly get $35k if someone who understands what's being offered to them for that money.

Collectors will pay a lot of dough for mint condition cars....

I'd believe it could do more then that if it saw something like the Barret Jackson. Some people in Scottsdale don't care how much if they want to outdo someone else who doesn't care how much.

Everytime I go to one I feel so very damn poor.

Still confised and wonder why he is selling it. From what he put into it, I would think he would never sell it. Atleast that is what I would do.

Maybe he has something new and bigger in the future to work on?

Oh, I have no doubts that it will sell for that price.

The price may seem a bit inflated to some, but I know Mike has sunk vast quantities of cash into that car. Read over the list of mods this car has received since Mike purchased it.....to replicate it would cost a small fortune even if you did all the work yourself. Someone with more than adequate financial means is likely to snatch it up. Lets just hope it goes to a good home. I would hate to see something happen to that car.

funny, it was just posted yesterday so it's not that old.

It's one of those cars that needs the right buyer. A person could never build that car for anything near 35k and the builder can't sell if for what they put in it. 35k is a very reasonable level for what you get.

just cause we're cheap doesn't mean the majority of enthusiasts are. that car has history, it's OG, in pristine condition, built with top notch parts and expertise. i remember seeing mikes car back on bmw-power.net, that pic got me interested in e30's in the firstplace. that shit is truly old skool.

I think his motor has $40-50,000 in it alone. Mike surely spent bank of that car. It's a bummer to see him selling it.

Ted is selling his Imola 3 as well!

$35k is a bargain for that car. It will easily sell for that.
