He was WELL over $50k invested into the car.
If he manages to sell it before June, I hope that the new owner brings it to the PNW picnic again.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.

Non ferrari & Porsche "imports" aren't hot right now, it wouldn't go for much. The E30 M3 has no value amongst the "classic car" crowd.

Ok, I'm selling it for personal reasons I chose not to get into.
About the car, I have had it since 1995! It was bone stock, and perfect.
All numbers match, I have all original off it, and many spares. I may put it to a more "clasic" look and sell off some of the "bling"
Like this
Now the price, I have over $35000 in engine receipts, not including maintaince. Lets not forget this car is over 300hp & 240ftlbs of torque. It's in the low 13 sec 1/14mi
There are also 10 years of receipts and a ton of documentation. There in 3 separate binders.
The rest of the car, you guys know what EVO parts go for, I'm asking for less then 1/3 of the investment. If it was a 2.3l, in mostly stock shape, it would be a $20k car, so my asking price is more then fair. In the past, I have had solid offers for the car, but of course would not sell. Right now, some one is flying out from California to check out the car and all the parts. You will need a big truck to take everything with you.
If you can't afford it, doesn't mean it's over priced.
Ted is asking $15k for his 330...

most of you have never seen the car in person.. you could seriously eat off the engine bay. it looks brand new! the only cleaner E30 I've seen is that original low-mileage Henna M3 that's always parked next to mike's at the concours. This isn't something to compare to your 200,000+ mile rusted out ETA.
I actually don't like the CF hood much though, I think it looks a lot better with a painted stock hood. the CF is just too busy for my taste..

I should probably stick with eBay
